Admiral Viva’s submarine was no bigger than Xi’s front fang, but that didn’t stop her from approaching. It couldn’t. Not with the Empire running low on fossilitite, the fuel needed to operate the Dragon Slayers. Derived from the liquefied bones of the petrols, without it, the Dragon Slayers would be little more than glorified toasters.
“Orders?” Viva could hear the muscles around the submarine’s belly contract and release as it moved. Wires jutted out from the red belly in all directions. The submarine, like all Slayers, was partially biological. “Fire when ready.” Commander Gon launched the Molten Beams.
